The Dallas Harmonica Trio is a professional group of entertainers that specialize in keeping alive the sounds of harmonicas that were popular worldwide during the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Their sound is very unique and they fascinate audiences with their arrangements of tunes that create a “memory lane” atmosphere. Familiar tunes that are easily recognizable and pleasing to the listener. Frank Halovanic plays “lead” on the Chromatic Harmonica. John Halovanic sets the rhythm on the 24 inch Chord Harmonica and Jerl Welch adds the Bass Harmonica to complete the Trio sound.
Crowd-pleasing music that is entertaining from the opening number to the finale and usually leaves an audience yelling for MORE.
This Trio has entertained at numerous harmonica conventions in Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis, performing for attendees from all over the globe. Regular appearances locally at Johnny Highs Country Music Review and the Grapevine Opry. The Trio are also members of the Harmonica Organization of Texas (HOOT) located in Dallas with a
membership of over 100.
